As a dentist, I understand that it can be very daunting for people to find a dental care provider they feel comfortable with. Having been there myself, I understand the need to feel confident in your dentist.
I’m here to show all my patients that it’s possible to have a dentist who is understanding, compassionate, and trustworthy. I genuinely try to get to know each person, understand their priorities, and work with them to establish a treatment plan that fits them as an individual.
The Path To Silver Leaf Dentistry
Although I was born in Littleton, Colorado (and a Broncos fan from birth), I grew up on the other side of the Rockies in Salt Lake City. After graduating high school, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in medical biology from the University of Utah in 2008.
Before becoming a dentist, I worked as a lab tech in a dental lab. This experience gave me an appreciation for the aesthetics and better understanding of restorative materials.
I received a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine in 2012.
From there, I worked in corporate and private dental practices as an associate for three years. Then, in April of 2015, I achieved my dream of opening my private practice, Silver Leaf Dentistry, right here in Longmont, CO.
As part of my commitment to always improving and extending my skills, I complete about 100 hours of continuing education each year. I have received extensive training in several aspects of dentistry, including dental implant placement, CEREC CAD/CAM dentistry, and oral conscious sedation.
Away From The Office
My wife, Stephanie, and I decided that we wanted to raise our four children back here in Colorado. There’s truly no better blessing than having my family back here in my native state!
Our children keep us very busy. In our free time, we are very active with our church, and I also enjoy playing volleyball and golf. My patients know that I’m a huge Broncos fan, but most of them don’t know that I actually have a Broncos tooth! Before becoming a dentist, I worked in a dental lab, where I designed the crown myself.
